IRENE - The crossroads for cooperation on negotiation at three levels:

At the local level, in Paris and its region, IRENE draws together negotiation researchers and practitioners.Because of our activities, permanent contacts have been established among ESSEC, Ecole Nationale d'Administration, Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécoms, the Universities of Paris II, Paris V and Paris IX, the School of the Paris Bar, the Resolution Cabinet and other institutions and corporations.

Moreover, IRENE is also present at the European level. Our objective is to confront existing theoretical models with practices in Europe. For example, IRENE works in collaboration with European institutions, and prominent corporations.

Finally, because negotiation is a field that has been explored by researchers from the world over for a long time, IRENE helps build bridges between Europe and other continents. For example, with the United Nations, the World Health Organization and the World Bank, IRENE develops projects of research and training in Africa and in Asia. In North America, in particular, cooperation has been set up with the Harvard Program on Negotiation, the Kellogg Dispute Resolution Research Center, Conflict Management Group, and with the International Association for Conflict Management.
