Burkina-Faso
At the request of His Excellency Mouhoussine NACRO, General Director of the Diplomatic Institute on International Relations, Aziza AKHMOUCH conducted a workshop “International Negotiation” in Ouagadougou from May 15 to May 21, 2006.
Cameroon
In August 1995, at the request of Lisette ELOMO NTONGA, Alain PEKAR LEMPEREUR conducted a workshop on international negotiation techniques for preparation, development and analysis at Cameroon’s Institute for International Relations (IRIC/ACCT).
Chad (WHO)
At the request of WHO regional office for Africa, the first workshop on negotiation for resource management was held in February 2000, in association with the Conflict Management Group. This workshop was conducted by Elizabeth McClintock and Alain PEKAR LEMPEREUR.
Congo-Brazzaville (WHO)
In February 2001, at the request of the Congolese government, WHO regional office for Africa supported the Ministry for Health, Solidarity and Humanitarian Action in the organization of a national workshop on the
negotiation process for resource management. This workshop gathered about forty senior managements from the Presidency, the Parliament, several ministries, the private sector and civil society and was conducted by Marie‐Hélène MATHEY‐BOO (WHO), Albert EMBOUNOU (ADB/WHO) and Alain PEKAR LEMPEREUR (ESSEC IRÉNÉ).
Democratic Republic of Congo (WHO)
At the request of His Excellency the Minister of Health Léonard MASHAKO MANBA, WHO partnering with CMG and ESSEC IRÉNÉ organized in December 2000 a national workshop on the negotiation processes for health resource mobilization.
Djibouti
In march 2009, the InterGovernmental Agency on Development (IGAD), based on Djibouti, is in charge of monitoring Peace Building missions in the Horn of Africa, and keeping peace among its memberstates (Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Djibouti, Uganda and Erytrea). It reached for ESSEC IRENE to lead a negotiation and mediation training for all its executive staff, with the support of the GTZ and the European Comission. This training was led by Dr. Aurelien Colson, director of IRENE.
Egypt
At the request of the Sadate Academy, one of the main governmental institutes for traineeship, Aurélien COLSON conducted in July 2001 a workshop on negotiation. This workshop gathered about thirty senior managements both from private and public sector.
Eritrea (UNITAR)
Eric BLANCHOT intervened in 2006 and 2007 at the Eritrean Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the first large‐scale UNITAR workshop for the diplomatic staff of this young country at the Horn of Africa.
Kenya (UNITAR)
In January 1999, at the request of UNITAR, Alain PEKAR LEMPEREUR conducted a seminary on negotiation techniques for diplomats in Nairobi and specifically at the UNEP.
Mozambique (IDLO)
Ricardo PEREZ NUCKEL intervened at the Ministry for The Management of natural resources for a negotiation traineeship organized by NGO IDLO (funded by the Italian government) for governmental and institutional officials as well as private sector representatives.
Togo
(WHO)
In November 2000 and April 2002, WHO held two national workshops conducted by Alain PEKAR LEMPEREUR on the negotiation process for resource management in K’Palimé.
