IRENE's approach to negotiation training is to combine the advantages of the European
and Anglo-Saxon models. The French approach to teaching aims at structuring thought, whereas in the United Stated or in Great-Britain, priority is given to discussion to induce key concepts. IRENE's teaching method is reality-based: first, students participate in role
simulations (doing). Then a collective debriefing enables the students to analyse
their experiences (discussing), and to structure
the major concepts (framing). Doing, showing/discussing and framing: here are the three essential steps to effective and successful learning during a negotiation seminar. |
